• Main Purpose of the Job
• The baker is responsible for producing a variety of fresh baked goods while maintaining the highest standards of quality, taste and good presentation. This role is essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales through delicious offerings at Checkers.

Work closely with other team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Minimum Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure all baked goods are superior quality and consistency

Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the baking area in compliance with health and safety policies

Prepare and bake a wide range of products, including bread, pastries, cakes and cookies according to the correct recipes.

Regularly check the quality and freshness of baked goods

• Minimum Qualifications.
• Matric certificate
• Clear criminal record
• Previous experience as a baker will be advantageous
• South African citizen
• No age restriction.
