Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Guard – Grade C Armed located in Sandton & Bedfordview. The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees. Day-to-day tasks include patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, conducting security checks, and responding to security alarms and incidents. The Security Guard will also be responsible for writing detailed incident reports and liaising with law enforcement when necessary.
Qualifications
Expertise in Physical Security, Personnel Security, and Private Security
Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills
Proficiency in conducting security checks and monitoring surveillance systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
Valid Grade C security certification and firearm competency certificate
Relevant experience in an armed security role is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
