The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for six (6) Grants Administrator positions in the Mpumalanga Province. These posts form part of SASSA’s ongoing commitment to delivering efficient and accessible social grant services to communities across South Africa.
Position: Grants Administrator (Level 05)

Salary: R228 321 – R268 950 per annum (excluding benefits)

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- A recognised NQF Level 6 qualification or equivalent, registered with SAQA
- Computer literacy is compulsory
- A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage
- Previous administrative or clerical experience will be an added advantage
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for the following core functions:
- Providing professional and efficient customer care services related to social grants
- Screening, receiving, and capturing grant applications accurately
- Performing beneficiary maintenance and administrative support
- Assisting with medical bookings and assessments where required
- Participating in outreach and off-site grant services
- Scanning, batching, and filing grant documentation in line with SASSA procedures
