Objective of the Role

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
Receptionists will be required to:
Front Desk & Visitor Management
- Welcome and receive all visitors professionally
- Determine the nature of the visitor’s business and direct them appropriately
- Inform relevant SANRAL personnel of visitor arrival
- Liaise with security regarding visitor logbooks and badges
- Report suspicious behaviour or unattended packages
- Maintain a clean, neat, and presentable reception area
Customer Service
- Assist guests and staff with general queries
- Ensure professional frontline conduct at all times
- Escort visitors to meeting rooms when required
Administrative Support
- Receive mail and parcels; manage and record all deliveries
- Oversee hostess/catering arrangements for beverages
- Ensure forms, stationery, and brochures are readily available
Switchboard Operation
- Answer and route phone calls efficiently
- Provide clear and accurate information to callers
- Ensure switchboard operations run smoothly
