Key Responsibilities of the Sales Agent Role
As a Sales Agent at MiWayLife, your main duties will include:
- Selling life insurance policies via outbound telephonic channels
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets consistently
- Adhering to quality and compliance standards to reduce business risk
- Handling sales objections effectively
- Building and nurturing strong client relationships
- Keeping updated with new products, regulations, and industry trends through continuous learning
- Ensuring compliance with the FAIS Fit & Proper qualification requirements
- Adapting to changes in business operations and priorities
- Maintaining optimal operational efficiencies
What Makes You a Strong Candidate?
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate is required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in outbound call centre sales, preferably in long-term insurance with target-driven performance
- Fluency in English and at least one other official South African language
- A clear criminal and credit record
- Commitment to comply with FAIS Act and Fit & Proper requirements
- Strong computer literacy
