What the PepsiCo Sales Representative Role Offers
As a Sales Representative at PepsiCo, you’ll play a pivotal role in implementing the company’s sales strategy, managing customer relationships, and ensuring product availability across your assigned route. The position is performance-driven and suited for candidates who are self-motivated and results-oriented.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Achieving monthly and annual revenue and volume targets as defined in the Annual Operating Plan
- Maintaining a 100% customer call rate
- Attaining a minimum of 90% strike rate on visits
- Managing stale returns below 0.5% threshold
- Acquiring new business accounts as per company targets
- Handling cash and stock in line with company policies
- Utilizing route reports to drive continuous improvement
- Ensuring vehicle is used efficiently to support cost control
- Adhering to all company policies, including sales protocols, health and safety standards
- Maintaining all company assets including hand-held devices, uniforms, vehicles, and mobile phones.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-year Business or Commercial tertiary qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the FMCG environment
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience
- Minimum 1 year experience operating a motor vehicle
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license
- Valid Public Driver’s Permit (PDP)
- Certified Defensive Driving Certification
