Job Purpose

As a Driver at Pedros, you will play a key role in ensuring timely delivery of customer orders, enhancing the brand’s reputation for efficiency and care. This permanent role, offering a market-related salary of approximately R6,000–R10,000 per month, requires strong time management and customer service skills to support Pedros’ operations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders promptly and accurately to various locations.
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent service during deliveries.
• Maintain delivery vehicles, ensuring they are clean and fueled.
• Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies during deliveries.
• Process orders and verify delivery details to ensure accuracy.
• Collect customer feedback and ratings to improve service quality.
• Perform additional tasks, such as assisting with packing or loading, as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10 certificate or equivalent.
• Valid Code 10 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• South African citizen with a valid ID.
• Clear criminal record.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills in English (Zulu or Afrikaans an advantage).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Preferences

• Grade 12/Matric certificate.
• Previous restaurant or delivery experience.
• Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
