About the OUTsurance OSS Hastings Learnership 2026
OUTsurance is now searching for candidates who would like to obtain a learnership programme focusing on the financial sector with the company’s guidance. The OUTsurance OSS Hastings Learnership is a structured, work-based development program designed to provide unemployed youth with valuable hands-on experience within the company. The program enables participants to gain practical workplace skills and develop competencies that will support their future careers in their chosen fields.
Successful candidates will enter into a fixed-term Learnership agreement with OUTsurance (this is not an employment contract) and will receive a monthly stipend of R12,000. This program is specifically aimed at unemployed youth who are passionate about call centre work and are eager to build experience that can help them establish a career in the Financial and Insurance sector.
Participants may be required to work full days on South African public holidays if scheduled, except when the holiday coincides with public holidays in the UK.
Participants in the OUTsurance OSS Hastings Learnership will be required to work shifts according to a pre-determined roster.
The scheduled shifts include:
- Friday to Monday: 9-hour workdays
- Saturday: 8-hour workday
- Sunday: 5-hour workday
Learners will be granted two weekdays off each week, which will fall on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Additionally, one day each week will be reserved for on-site training to complete full qualifications, allowing participants to gain essential skills and knowledge for their professional development.
