About the Learnership
A learnership is a structured learning programme that blends classroom (theoretical) training with practical, hands-on work experience. Learnerships are aligned with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and accredited by the relevant SETA (Sector Education and Training Authority).
Through this programme, learners will:
- Complete formal training modules
- Gain real-world workplace exposure
- Participate in assessments
- Receive a recognised qualification upon successful completion
The duration of the learnership is 12 months, and learners will be paid a monthly stipend throughout the programme.
Minimum Entry Requirements
To qualify for a Training Force learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Aged between 18 and 28 years old
- Must be currently unemployed
- Not enrolled in any other learnership, internship, or study programme
- Minimum educational qualification: Grade 10, 11 or 12 (Matric) depending on the specific learnership
- Must be available for a full 12-month commitment
- Willing to work hard, learn, and develop professionally
- Able to attend both training sessions and workplace assignments as required
