🏆 Job Responsibilities – A Day in the Life of a Forklift Driver
As a Forklift Driver at Nestlé, you will:
✅ Transport raw materials from storage to the production area.
✅ Use an RF Scanner to track stock movements.
✅ Update records on the SAP system to ensure stock accuracy.
✅ Take product samples for quality testing .
✅ Keep track of semi-finished products using the QMS system.
✅ Participate in hourly sensory tests and record results.
✅ Perform daily checks on empty bins before using them.
✅ Help with stock counts and assist in various warehouse duties.
✅ Ensure safety rules are followed to prevent accidents.
✅ Follow the Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) approach to improve efficiency.
✅ Conduct daily and weekly forklift inspections to maintain performance.
✅ Assist with machine operations and troubleshooting when needed.
✅ Remove waste materials and report any equipment breakdowns .
✅ Handle other assigned tasks as required.
🎯What You Need to Qualify
✅ Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
✅ Valid Forklift License
✅ 2+ years of forklift driving experience in a warehouse setting
✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
