Your role will focus on ensuring the gardens are clean, safe, and well-maintained, meeting both Necsa and SHEQ standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Operating industrial gardening equipment
Managing heavy cleaning tools and machinery
Using gardening chemicals and supplies responsibly
Understanding and following Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

General Duties as Gardener

Design and install landscaping and seasonal flower arrangements
Clean and upkeep common areas
Empty and clean dustbins
Follow the weekly and monthly cleaning and maintenance schedule
Handle basic maintenance tasks as needed
Monitor and ensure the health of plants
Mow, trim, and fertilize lawn and green areas
Apply mulch, edge, and weed the gardens
Prune and shape trees and shrubs
Maintain all gardening equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers
Manage pest control to prevent damage to plants
Keep gardens and outdoor spaces free of debris, litter, and animal waste
Care for plants by watering, fertilizing, and trimming
Use and maintain gardening tools and light machinery
Identify and treat plant diseases, pests, and other garden issues
Offer suggestions for garden improvements
Follow safety protocols when applying chemicals and using equipment
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) processes.
