About the Learnership
Nampak Metals, in partnership with Optimum Learning Technologies, is offering a 12-month NQF Level 3 Occupational Certificate Production Operator Learnership.
This programme combines classroom-based learning and on-the-job training in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will develop practical skills, technical knowledge, and workplace competence that will give you a competitive edge in the manufacturing industry.
During the programme, you will:
- Receive expert training from experienced trainers.
- Shadow skilled operators and rotate across different roles.
- Learn to maintain safety standards and adhere to plant rules.
- Develop technical problem-solving skills and operational knowledge.
- Work under the guidance of the Operational Technical Trainer.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizen
- Grade 12 / Matric with:
- Mathematics (minimum 40%)
- Physical Science (minimum 40%)
- English proficiency
- Basic computer literacy
- Must reside within 50km of Nampak Metals Springs
- Currently unemployed (18.2 category)
- Strong technical aptitude, positive attitude, and good work ethic
- A National Technical Certificate will be an advantage
