As a Multi Skilled Employee, you will perform a range of duties across different areas of the cinema. Key Responsibilities
Your duties will vary depending on the shift and operational requirements. You can expect to:
- Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Sell movie tickets and manage cash or digital transactions accurately.
- Operate point-of-sale systems for box office, catering, and merchandise counters.
- Prepare and serve snacks, popcorn, and beverages according to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, counters, and service areas.
- Ensure food safety and quality while adhering to health and safety procedures.
- Assist with poster displays, product promotions, and visual presentation in the cinema.
- Perform usher duties by guiding guests to their seats and ensuring auditoriums are neat and tidy.
- Support stock control processes and assist with receiving or storing goods.
- Participate in daily briefings, team meetings, and shift preparation.
- Follow all uniform and grooming standards to maintain the Ster-Kinekor image.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the company’s reputation for excellent service.
Minimum Requirements
To apply for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Education: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: 0–1 year of experience in a customer service, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Computer Skills: Basic MS Office skills are required. Knowledge of VISTA or similar cinema systems will be an advantage.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
