An opportunity has become available for a Graduate Trainee – Lab Technician at Vitro
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Qualified chemical technician/technologist/metallurgist/Ceramicist or similar qualification
- Collect & prepare samples using laboratory apparatus and testing equipment to determine the material characteristics.
- Perform lab analyses as required for each operational phase; drill core, mining, finished product, projects and new product development work.
- Compile and record testing and operational data for review and further analysis.
- Generate Certificates (Specification sheets) of Analysis for finished products where applicable.
- Help Production departments to identify & resolve non- conformities.
- Participate in quality program objectives and the resolution of quality issues.
- Good communication skills.
- A very strong work ethic.
