Empowering Women Through Education and Opportunity
The MORE Collection Impact Fund believes in creating meaningful change that lasts for generations. About the South African College for Tourism
Located in Graaff-Reinet, the South African College for Tourism is known for transforming the lives of unemployed young men and women from underprivileged backgrounds. The college offers professional training in hospitality and nature-based tourism, preparing graduates to take up skilled positions in lodges, hotels, game reserves, and other tourism-related establishments.
The hospitality training programme runs for one full year and covers all aspects of the industry. Students learn practical skills in areas such as housekeeping, front office, food and beverage service, and guest relations. Once students complete the programme, they are well-prepared to specialize in their chosen hospitality stream.
All training programmes are accredited by CATHSSETA (Culture, Art, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Sector Education and Training Authority) and the QCTO (Quality Council for Trades and Occupations)—ensuring that graduates receive nationally recognized qualifications that open doors to future opportunities.
