We’re seeking a Merchandiser to join our team!

As a Merchandiser, your job is to ensure that store shelves are stocked with the right products, displayed attractively, and priced correctly to draw in customers and increase sales. Think of it as making the store look appealing and helping products sell better.

This role requires travel between different stores within a designated area.
You’ll need your own smartphone to be eligible for this role.
If shortlisted, you’ll need to upload your Matric Certificate, ID, SARS Letter, and Bank Confirmation Letter on the JOBJACK platform—no one will contact you via social media for these documents.

Duties & Responsibilities

The role of a Merchandiser involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:

• Count, verify, and record stock to be merchandised.
• Unpack and log received stock.
• Arrange and display products to attract customers, ensuring all items are visible.
• Maintain accurate stock records and monitor stock levels consistently.
• Adjust displays to match stock availability and promotions.
• Follow display guidelines and use creativity to capture customer attention.
• Create seasonal or promotional displays.
• Inspect product quality and report any damages.
• Refill shelves and track stock inventory.
• Rotate old stock and ensure new items are properly displayed.
• Plan product quantities and display layouts.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams.
• Use colors, lighting, props, and decorations to enhance displays.
• Design store layouts, signage, and advertisements.
• Keep the area, including storerooms, clean and organized.
• Advise customers on product usage and handle any complaints, queries, or feedback.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

• Grade 12.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience in Sales, Merchandiser or Customer Service.
• Clear Criminal record.
