Our client based in Centurion is looking for a Python Data Analyst for a 12-month contract and working onsite.
Description
Skills:
2 years of working experience in an IT environment
Experience in working on IT enterprise Azure-based data solutions
Experience with Power BI, Power Query, T-SQL and visualizing
Experience with
Experience in gathering requirements and transition it to designs and outcomes
Duties:
Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to deliver actionable insights that drive informed business decisions.
Design, create, and deploy enterprise-scale data analytics solutions using the Microsoft Azure Data Suite.
Clean, transform, and model data to enable advanced analytics and business intelligence reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional internal and external teams to ensure effective implementation, setup, utilization, and governance of the enterprise data platform.
Contribute to the full data function, including data analytics, business intelligence, and advanced analytics.
Possess strong knowledge of data and business intelligence enablement, as well as business intelligence rendering tools.
Demonstrate proficiency in project management tools and report writing.
Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Apply strong people change management skills to ensure successful adoption of data-driven initiatives.
Maintain a strong business focus by understanding organizational strategy and aligning data initiatives to support business objectives.
Knowledge of IT security is an added advantage.
Minimum Requirements
BCom Information Technology qualification / bachelor’s degree in computer science / Engineering (IT) degree or similar
Data analysis tools (Azure Enterprise Data Analyst) certification will be an added advantage
ITIL or COBIT certification
