🔥 Job Responsibilities – What You’ll Be Doing

As a Pharmacy Sales Assistant , your main tasks will include:

✅ Greeting customers with a friendly and helpful attitude .
✅ Processing payments accurately using the store’s Point of Sale (POS) system .
✅ Balancing sales and receipts at the end of shifts.
✅ Restocking shelves and organizing the sales floor to maintain a neat and professional look.
✅ Keeping up with new products, promotions, and special offers .
✅ Monitoring shop customer activity to prevent lifting.
✅ Arranging eye-catching product displays to attract customers.
✅ Helping customers find the right products based on their needs.
✅ Answering customer queries or escalating them to management when needed.
✅ Conducting price audits to ensure pricing is correct.
✅ Following all store policies and procedures to maintain smooth operations.

🎯What You Need to Apply

📌 Qualifications:

✔ Grade 12 / Matric certificate (compulsory)

📌 Experience:

✔ At least 5 months of retail experience handling Point of Sale (POS) transactions.
✔ Proven experience in customer service and sales .

📌 Skills Required:

✔ Computer literacy (basic knowledge of digital systems).
✔ Fluent in Afrikaans and English (preferred).
✔ Friendly, engaging organizational personality —great with customers!
✔ Knowledge of different payment methods (cash, cards, vouchers, etc.).
✔ Understanding of stock receiving procedures and merchandising .
✔ Strong communication skills and communication skills .
