MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To ensure that all equipment, plant, building, and services always remain functional to their original state in the safest and most cost-effective way
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Perform technical jobs within the Locality
Perform administration duties within the technical function
Identify and mitigate technical risks within the Locality
Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the Locality
Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function
Required Education
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
Grade 10 or equivalent technical vocational qualification
Desired Education
Grade 12
Essential Certification
Driver’s license
DESIRED CERTIFICATION
Mediclinic Technical Assistant Development Programme
Required Experience
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
5 years’ experience in building maintenance and repair (skilled) or Mediclinic qualified (Mediclinic Technical Assistant Development Programme)

Skills and knowledge of building maintenance issues
Fault finding and troubleshooting
Planned maintenance according to set Mediclinic standards
Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (e.g. OHS and ISO)
Ability to read layout plans and diagrams
Skills and knowledge of general equipment repairs
Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
