Salary and Benefits
- Salary Scale: R357,972 – R497,184 per annum

Job Purpose
To render an effective, efficient, and professional day-to-day fire and rescue operational service within the City of Tshwane.
Minimum Appointment Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Basic Ambulance Course with current HPCSA registration
- Fire Fighter I and Fire Fighter II certificates
- Hazmat First Responder:
- Awareness Level
- Operational Level
- Valid Code C driving licence
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fire and rescue environment
- Physically and medically fit
- Ability to pass:
- Physical capability test
- Medical evaluation
- Criminal record check (fingerprints required at own cost)
- Willingness to:
- Work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and standby duties
- Be stationed at any fire station in Tshwane
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to fire, rescue, and emergency incidents
- Render basic emergency medical care
- Perform fire prevention duties
- Operate and maintain firefighting equipment and vehicles
- Maintain fire station facilities and operational readiness
