I&J is looking for prospective candidates who would like to obtain an associate work position as a professional Receiving Clerk in the Manufacturing industry. In this role, the Receiving Clerk is responsible for verifying all incoming orders received from the Trawling Division and ensuring that each delivery matches the physical stock offloaded. This includes carefully checking quantities, assessing the condition of goods, and confirming that all received items align with the accompanying documentation. Through detailed inspections and accurate record-keeping, the Receiving Clerk helps maintain stock integrity and supports the seamless movement of goods within the facility.

You will be required to perform the duties below:

  • Collect the blind tally from the trawling division and record it for further processing
  • Monitor and document stock temperatures before the carousal stage and throughout the sorting process to ensure quality compliance
  • Finalize the SAP Z Land transaction promptly to maintain accurate and updated stock records
  • Perform Excel reconciliations to align the blind tally, trawling division data, and SAP system information
  • Process all non-conformance reports resulting from X-ray rejections and clearly document any discrepancies
  • Coordinate the reworking of damaged items and products rejected during the X-ray inspection
  • Generate SU labels for sorted pallets and ensure proper backup records are created for third-party verification
  • Physically repack damaged items when necessary to restore them to acceptable condition

General Responsibilities as Receiving Clerk

  • Inspect incoming shipments to verify quantity, quality, and condition of goods
  • Compare received items against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices
  • Record and capture all received stock accurately in the system
  • Label, sort, and organize incoming goods for proper storage or further processing
  • Report any discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items to supervisors or procurement teams
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the receiving area to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and suppliers to facilitate smooth receiving processes
  • Ensure all documentation is completed, filed, and stored according to company procedures
  • Use equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or scanners where required and authorized
  • Follow company safety policies and adhere to proper handling procedures at all times.
