Program Purpose

Key Responsibilities
- Remove, recondition, and replace cylinder heads under supervision.
- Disassemble, service, repair, and assemble engine blocks with main components.
- Remove, diagnose, and replace fuel system components.
- Learn basic electronics and test ignition system components.
- Study fundamentals of engine efficiency and forced charging systems.
- Move, test, repair, and replace electrical components.
- Remove and replace clutch and transmission components.
- Diagnose and repair brake system components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in training sessions and technical assessments.

Eligibility Criteria
- South African citizen with a valid ID, aged 16–35.
- Grade 12 certificate with proficiency in Mathematics and Physical Science (minimum 50% in each).
- No prior work experience required; training provided.

- Commitment to completing the apprenticeship programme.
