Full job description
DUTIES:
- Ensure housekeeping is conducted in your area as you perform your duties.
- Know, understand, and follow the picking GLC743218 & Binning GLC743219 work procedure.
- Assist other team members as and when required.
- Work overtime as and when required.
- Achieve Picking rate of 19 lines per hour.
- Ensure all parts picking are delivered to the correct chutes in time.
- Ensure all parts picked are properly secured to avoid parts falling off.
- Ensure all work equipment is returned to and stored in the designated area when not in use.
- Be familiar with the Section 14 of the OHS act as was discussed in your induction.
- Ensure that you work according to the company’s work safe procedure.
- Ensure that your work environment is safe and report any unsafe acts or conditions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric and Abet Level 4
- Must have 1 year experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Must have a driver’s license
- Good communication skills.
- Must have general knowledge of spares identification, verification & understanding.
- Must be willing to be a team player, work with & assist other team members.
- Must be prepared to work overtime as & when necessary to meet deadlines.
- Crane & forklift licence will be an added advantage.
