Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for a Miner with experience in Drilling and Blasting to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape.
Responsibilities:
- Join Connect meeting with shift boss and team to plan daily tasks.
- Inspect and operate LDV before and after shifts, following safety rules.
- Check re-entry conditions and declare the area safe for roof prep and bolting.
- Assign dust suppression to Support Worker and assist if needed.
- Measure and record wet/dry bulb temperatures and air velocity.
- Supervise or perform barring operations for safe roof prep.
- Inspect side walls for misfires and address as needed.
- Secure misfired explosives in designated boxes and hand them over at shift end.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Blasting Certificate for Scheduled Mines
- 5 years’ experience as miner.
- Valid Driver’s License
