Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 10 / Standard 8 or ABET Level 4 Certificate (or equivalent)

  • Basic literacy and good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Basic understanding of horticultural tools and equipment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours according to operational needs

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining government premises and outdoor spaces, including:

  • General garden and grounds maintenance
  • Planting, pruning, watering, mowing, paving, and tree felling
  • Maintaining flower beds and removing weeds
  • Collecting and loading garden refuse for disposal
  • Operating gardening equipment such as lawnmowers and chainsaws when required
  • Ensuring strict compliance with occupational health and safety standards
