HR IT Solutions Expert
Accountability:
Support the Glencore Copper Africa focused on the implementation of the SAP HR IT Solutions.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
-SAP certification preferred
-Proven experience implementing SAP HR modules

-Expert level knowledge of SuccessFactors and SAP HCM
-Participate in SAP and SuccessFactors implementation, projects or global service delivery

General Accountability:
Implementing Efficient Systems: Deploying and customizing HR software solutions to streamline processes.
Ensuring Compliance: Ensuring that HR systems comply with relevant regulations
and data protection laws.
Enhancing User Experience: Providing training and support for effective utilization of the software.
Continuous Improvement: Staying updated on the latest HR technology trends and best practices to enhance the user experience.
Specific Accountabilities:
– Research and evaluate HR software solutions that align with the organization’s needs and goals. Lead the implementation process, including system configuration, data migration, and integration with existing systems.
– Customize HR software to meet specific organizational requirements such as configuring workflows, creating custom fields, and ensuring seamless integration with other business systems.
– User Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training to HR staff on how to use the software effectively. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure smooth operations and maximum utilization of the HR technology.
– Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and propose enhancements to existing systems or processes to optimize HR operations.
– Collaborate with HR stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment between technology solutions and business objectives.
– Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize tasks and mitigate risks.
– Build and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
-Training Effectiveness: Assess the proficiency of HR staff in using the software through training completion rates, post-training assessments, and feedback surveys. Higher scores indicate effective training and user readiness.
-System Enhancements and Upgrades: Track the implementation of system enhancements, upgrades, or new features to improve functionality, performance, and user experience.
-Vendor Performance: Evaluate the performance of HR software vendors based on criteria such as responsiveness, resolution time for support tickets, and adherence to SLAs. Ensure effective vendor management to address issues and optimize service delivery.

Officer (Finance, Governance and Assurance)
Plan, execute, and document Management Assurance engagements to ensure alignment with organisational objectives Manage Alloys’ Internal Control over Financial Reporting framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices Direct and oversee the Raising Concerns Programme, including conducting investigations and presenting findings to key stakeholders.
Supervise and monitor the progress of investigations conducted by fellow investigators.
Maintain the Raising Concerns Programme register and ensure the implementation of recommended remedial actions.
Team Assistant
We are looking for a motivated Team Assistant to join Group Internal Audit and Assurance (GIAA) in the Planning, Reporting and Operations (PRO) team. The Team Assistant will provide administrative support to the GIAA leadership team by gathering, recording, and synthesising information efficiently and effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintenance of system databases, including data entry tasks.
- Quality checks and processing of data sets and workbooks.
- General and ad hoc administrative duties, such as updating records and tracking spreadsheets.
- Assist in gathering, analysing, and synthesizing information for presentations.
- Provide administrative support to the GIAA leadership team by ensuring efficient general office administration such as diary management and order processing.
- Coordinating schedules and arranging team meetings, workshops, and events.
- Attending meetings and preparation of notes and tracking of follow up actions.
- To provide “first point of contact” for the department.
This position will report to the Head of Assurance PRO, who reports to the Head of GIAA.
QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma in administration, office management, or a related field.
- Advantageous to demonstrate post qualification studies or soft skills development.
Work Experience:
- Min of 5 years of experience in a team assistant or administrative role (advantageous if within a corporate or audit environment).
- Extensive Ms PowerPoint and Excel skills
Competencies:
- A high level of attention to detail and able to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing documents and entering information.
- Well-organised with an efficient working style and able to manage time effectively (ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities).
- Comfortable at performing recurring/repetitive tasks.
- Good team player with a can-do and positive attitude
- Good interpersonal skills (ability to work well and interact with stakeholders and adaptability to handle changing work demands)
- Able to work with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.

We are currently accepting applications for the following position located in the Middelburg, Mpumalanga area.
The succesful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal inspections, legislation and company policies and procedures on all matters concerning Occupational Hygiene Engineering are implemented, monitored and complied within area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Compiling mandatory Occupational Hygiene monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- Assessing workplace stressors for Airborne Pollutants, Thermal stress, Noise, and developing a strategy and monitoring program as per the DMRE Guidelines.
- Conducting self-propelled mobile machinery and area illumination and noise survey.
- Sampling and analyzing of potable water.
- Analyzing and reporting of hazardous chemicals.
- Compiling baseline and issue-based risks assessments for all stressors encountered.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification and Intermediate Certificate in Mine Environmental Control OR
- Certificate in Mine Environmental Control.
- Obtained required subjects to enable registration with the South African Institute of Occupational Hygiene (SAIOH).
- Driver’s license (Code EB/08).
Minimum Experience:
- 3 Years’ experience in Occupational Hygiene.
- Competent in hygiene measurement techniques.
Behavioural Competencies:
- Consciousness for details and the ability to produce consistently high quality and accurate work.
- Ability to apply practical skills and common sense to solve problems and deliver accountabilities.
- Ability to work consistently hard to achieve deliverables and honour commitments made.
