About the Givaudan Sales Assistant Learnership 2026
Givaudan is offering learnership programmes for individuals who are keen on developing their abilities as a professional Sales Assistant in the company. You will be responsible for the management of the customer project system and for following up on key actions from KAM Customer visits as part of the Givaudan Sales Assistant Learnership.
In addition, you will be responsible for providing secretarial support, administrative assistance, and backup for Commercial KAMs. You will be responsible for the maintenance and upgrading of the Commercial and Customer systems, as well as the maintenance and updating of the Master Data for customers.
The Givaudan Sales Assistant Learnership will require you to:
- Compile monthly sales reports to track customer activity and evaluate territory performance.
- Support the Sales Team with CRM-related tasks to keep customer information accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Coordinate and schedule customer visits in collaboration with the Sales Team.
- Organize customer meetings and visits in alignment with business priorities and timelines.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials for customer engagements led by the Key Account Manager.
- Oversee the handling of price quotation requests, ensuring timely responses and accurate communication with customers.
- Track customer price adjustment schedules and update pricing information across all relevant systems promptly.
- Maintain accurate customer master data, ensuring consistency, reliability, and compliance within all commercial systems.
- Support the Key Account Manager in identifying potential customers in new territories.
- Assist in updating the territory potential file on a quarterly basis to reflect current data.
- Request product samples from production units through the CRM system for customer briefs or comparisons.
- Coordinate the preparation and dispatch of customer samples, ensuring all necessary documentation and certifications are included.
- Manage and monitor sample requests within the customer project system, keeping records accurate and current.
- Communicate proactively with customers to provide updates on sample progress and expected delivery timelines.
- Assist the Key Account Manager with travel arrangements and related logistical requirements.
- Support project meetings by recording minutes and tracking key action items.
- Monitor project timelines and send timely reminders to team members to ensure deadlines are met.
- Manage general filing and correspondence for the department, keeping records organized and accessible.
- Maintain structured electronic filing systems for customer documents, visit reports, and product information.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams—including Development, Marketing, CMI, and System Power-Users—to ensure smooth workflows and task completion.
