What You Need to Qualify

Grade 12 (Matric) or NCV Level 4 certificate
1–2 years of experience in a similar role
Basic skills in general maintenance and storeroom management
Strong attention to detail with high cleanliness and upkeep standards
Physically fit to do tasks like lifting, bending, and standing for long hours
Self-motivated, punctual, responsible, and disciplined
Basic understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
First Aid knowledge is a plus
Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
A valid driver’s license is an advantage

What You Will Do

Perform general cleaning such as disposing of rubbish, cleaning fireplaces, braais, office buildings, restrooms, and nearby areas
Help with minor maintenance related to buildings, roads, water supply, and infrastructure
Maintain grounds and gardens through mowing and landscaping
Assist with simple office tasks like answering phones and checking assets
Report maintenance problems in the logbook
Clean and take care of machinery, tools, and equipment
Carry out other duties assigned by the supervisor
Always follow Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) rules

Salary and Grade

The salary follows the Paterson A3 job grade scale
Includes allowances and benefits according to SANParks Conditions of Service
