Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10–12 or equivalent qualification (including ABET)
- No experience required (experience in physical labour will be an advantage)
- Ability to read and write
- Must be physically and mentally fit
- Willingness to perform physical labour and work shifts
- Knowledge of laundry working procedures
- Understanding of government policies will be an added advantage
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to comply with occupational health and safety regulations
- Must wear protective clothing as required by law
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Sorting, counting, folding, and ironing both clean and soiled linen
- Off-loading soiled linen from trucks and loading clean linen
- Counting and recording linen bags (clean and soiled)
- Delivering clean linen to hospitals
- Preparing linen for the ironing department
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry working environment
- Rotating duties as required
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards
- Performing additional duties as delegated by supervisors
