Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- AET Level 4 (Grade 9/Standard 7) or Grade 12
- At least six (6) months’ relevant cleaning experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work shifts, including night duty, weekends, and public holidays
- Physical fitness to handle demanding cleaning tasks
- Honesty, reliability, and ability to work under pressure
- Basic problem-solving skills and initiative
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Cleaning bathrooms, consulting rooms, offices, waiting areas, passages, and other interior and exterior areas
- Dusting, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and polishing floors
- High dusting of walls and surfaces
- Cleaning windows, lifts, fire escapes, stairs, cupboards, appliances, and medical equipment
- Managing general and medical waste in line with Health Care Waste and Infection Prevention and Control guidelines
- Assisting with decontamination and disinfecting procedures
- Cleaning spillages promptly and safely
- Supporting laundry services
- Serving meals and washing utensils
- Performing additional duties as delegated by the supervisor
