Are you friendly, reliable, and eager to start a career in retail? We are hiring enthusiastic Fuel Station Cashiers to join our team at various petrol stations across Gauteng. No prior experience is needed – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to help you succeed in this exciting role!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service at the point of sale.
- Process cash, card, and mobile payment transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Assist with fuel transactions and answer customer queries about products or services.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter and store area.
- Restock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards, including fuel area regulations.
- Support team members in daily operations to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Requirements:
- Grade 10 or higher (Matric/Grade 12 preferred but not essential).
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and giving correct change.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn on the job.
- South African citizenship or valid work permit.
- No prior experience required – training will be provided.
