The Fuel Attendant is responsible for re – fueling Company vehicles with fuel and take dipstick readings on fuel tanks, cleaning of yard and carry out any other reasonable instruction.
Job description
Deliverables in this Role:
- Re – fueling of Company vehicles
- Recording dipstick reading on main fuel holding tanks
- Accurately Recording of daily fuel filled up on each vehicle on fuel sheet
- Printing of electronic petrol slips and getting drivers to sign
- Assist with cleaning of yard and vehicles
- To clean all equipment
- Observe any issues and report to Supervisor
- Daily cleaning of site – papers, pallets and boards picked up
- Follow housekeeping standards
- Assist in washing trucks
- Ensure PPE is worn at all times
- Keep workplace neat and tidy at all times
Minimum requirements
What Education, Core Knowledge and Experience will afford me this opportunity?
· Matric/ Grade 12
Experience
· Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.
· Preferably previous work experience as a fuel attendant
· Core /Technical Business Knowledge
· Fuel knowledge and understanding
