To provide efficient and effective administrative support that ensures the smooth running of a functional area while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Operational Support
- Provide accurate and effective administrative support to the business unit
- Maintain filing systems to ensure efficient service delivery
- Manage administrative processes for departmental operations
- Prepare and provide timely and accurate management information
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Resolve customer queries efficiently and within agreed timelines
- Deliver proactive, innovative service solutions that exceed expectations
- Build and manage strong working relationships with end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff
Governance, Compliance & Risk
- Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry practices
- Draft and implement appropriate interventions where required
- Ensure compliance with legislative, governance, and audit requirements
Performance & Development
- Manage own development to improve skills and competencies
- Support performance management, skills development, employment equity, and talent initiatives
