About the Fidelity Services Group Youth Learnership 2026-2028
Fidelity Services Group is currently looking for youth applicants who would like to obtain a learnership programme to strengthen your current knowledge. The Fidelity Services Group Youth Learnership Program is actively seeking motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic young individuals who are eager to begin a career in the security industry. Through this opportunity, participants will join the organization as Learnership Security Officers, gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical, on-the-job experience.

The program is specifically designed to equip learners with essential security skills-including monitoring and patrolling premises, maintaining a safe environment for employees and visitors, and responding effectively to potential security threats or incidents. Participants will also develop professionalism, discipline, and situational awareness, preparing them for long-term career growth within the security sector.

You will be required to perform the duties below:

Observe and review security cameras and alarm systems regularly to detect, assess, and report any unusual or suspicious activity
Conduct routine patrols in designated areas to maintain the safety, security, and integrity of the premises at all times
Document and report any security breaches, incidents, or irregularities promptly to the relevant supervisors or authorities for proper action
Offer assistance and support to employees, visitors, or anyone requiring help, ensuring a professional and courteous approach at all times
Participate actively in all required training sessions and coursework as part of the learnership, demonstrating commitment to skill development and professional growth
Adhere strictly to company policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures to uphold a secure and well-managed working environment.

The Fidelity Services Group Youth Learnership Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

Must be a South African citizen
Matric Certificate
Strong command of English
Fall within the youth age range, ideally between 18 and 27 years old
Display excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Operate effectively under pressure and respond calmly in challenging situations
Demonstrate eagerness to learn and participate fully in a structured training program
Apply strong attention to detail and uphold a high sense of responsibility
Demonstrates strong administrative and organizational capabilities, with the ability to operate independently and maintain a high level of professionalism
Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with personnel across all organizational levels
Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic in approach to work
Committed to following instructions accurately and adhering to established guidelines
Undergo and clear both a background verification and a drug screening test.
