Position Overview – Cleaner

The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene at company sites. This includes cleaning different areas, handling equipment and cleaning materials safely, and ensuring compliance with all company standards.

This role is essential in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both clients and staff.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

Grade 12 / National Certificate (Matric).
1–2 years of experience in a similar cleaning role.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Willingness to undergo criminal and credit checks as part of the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cleaner at Feedem Catering, your duties will include:

Cleaning floors, walls, tiles, storerooms, cold rooms, equipment, and other designated areas according to company procedures.
Removing refuse and waste from all areas and disinfecting refuse storage spaces daily.
Using cleaning equipment, materials, and agents safely and correctly, following provided instructions.
Operating cleaning machinery and signage effectively and responsibly.
Handling cleaning chemicals and tools with care and knowledge.
Performing any reasonable task requested by management.
