Faircape Restaurant and Catering, part of Faircape Life retirement villages, operates across six prime Western Cape locations, delivering professional dining services to residents and healthcare patients. They are now seeking experienced Waiters to join their teams at Heritage Manor and Bridgewater Manors in Somerset West. This role is ideal for candidates with proven hospitality experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of professionalism and courtesy. Preference will be given to candidates residing close to Somerset West.

Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience as a Waiter (bartending/barista skills advantageous)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of serving etiquette and basic wine knowledge
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Clear health, criminal, and credit records
- Contactable written references (mandatory)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set and maintain tables to required standards, including linen and condiments
- Serve food and beverages professionally and courteously
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness across designated areas
- Provide accurate information about menu items and make recommendations
- Handle customer complaints effectively, escalating where needed
- Conduct stock audits and report variances or breakages
- Assist with accurate billing and bar inventory replenishment
- Uphold grooming and personal hygiene standards
- Be available for private events outside of normal rostered hours

Working Hours & Remuneration
- 16.25 shifts per month, rostered between Mondays–Sundays, 07h00–19h00
- Competitive salary package including:
- Sundays paid at 1.5x rate
- Public holidays paid at 2x rate
- Quarterly discretionary bonuses (performance-based)
