Job Purpose
The Cleaner position with Empact Group Food Solutions in Cape Town is a contract role (6–12 months) designed for Matric holders to maintain hygiene and support food production in a corporate environment. You’ll clean, stock, and assist front and back of house, contributing to a safe and efficient workplace. With a market-related salary (approximately R4,800–R8,000 per month), this role offers accessible entry into the food and beverage industry for youth with no prior experience required.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including kitchens, dining spaces, and workstations.
- Stock supplies such as cleaning agents, utensils, and food production materials.
- Support food production tasks, including preparing workstations and organizing supplies.
- Assist front of house (e.g., dining areas) and back of house (e.g., kitchens) as needed.
- Inspect and document maintenance activities to ensure equipment and facility standards.
- Perform special cleaning projects to maintain hygiene compliance.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols during all cleaning tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations.

Eligibility Criteria
- South African citizen with a valid ID, aged 18–35.
- Matric certificate (Grade 12).
- No prior experience required; training provided.
- Basic communication skills in English.
