Econo Foods is hiring Butchery Assistants for their stores, including locations in Welkom, Free State, and Rustenburg, North West. What You’ll Do
As a Butchery Assistant, you’ll:
- Assist with cutting, trimming, and preparing meat using knives, bandsaws, and grinders.
- Help break down meat carcasses to meet store specifications.
- Weigh, price, and package meat products for sale.
- Keep the butchery clean and follow strict hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist with stock management, ensuring fresh, high-quality products are ready for customers.
- Support the team with customer inquiries about meat cuts and preparation tips.
- Help with deliveries or pickups to keep the butchery running smoothly.
