Job Purpose

As a Driver Reliever, you will assist the Driver/Salesman in delivering Premier products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. You will also support cash and tray collection, maintain vehicle safety, and contribute to customer relationship building in the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and sign off on company products as per loading sheet.
  • Adhere to standard departure times for deliveries.
  • Ensure vehicle safety and hygiene compliance.
  • Collect and manage cash from customers, banking daily as required.
  • Offload products at customer locations.
  • Report accidents immediately to the transport department and Service Manager.
  • Assist with truck reversing per company SOP.
  • Manage truck stock and cash reconciliation.
  • Visit customers daily and identify new business opportunities on routes.
  • Balance trays and reconcile at the site after routes.
  • Return all Proof of Delivery (POD) documents.

Qualification Requirements

  • Grade 12/Matric certificate.
  • Valid Code 10 driver’s license with Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).

Experience Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Minimum of 24 months’ driving experience.
