Introduction

The Gfleet department is seeking 7 Driver/Messenger positions to safely transport clients and deliver items. The ideal candidates must be professional, reliable, and customer-focused.

Requirements

• Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
• License: Code C Driving License with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Experience: No experience required.
• Skills and Competencies:
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Report writing abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Clients (Chauffeur or Shuttle Service): Safely collect and transport clients to and from their destinations. Plan and execute the fastest routes, communicate route changes, and apply road safety standards.
• Deliver Items: Transport documents, mail, vehicles, etc., to stakeholders. Maintain a record of all deliveries.
• Provide Safe Driving: Apply defensive driving techniques, heighten awareness for hijack avoidance, and practice fire safety and first aid.
• Frontline Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally, assist with luggage, and provide timely information regarding trips.
• Record and Upkeep: Maintain vehicle logbooks, complete requisition forms, and ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and properly maintained. Report any vehicle issues, renew license disks, and adhere to service schedules.
