Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum ABET Level 3 or Grade 10
  • Good physical health and ability to perform manual work
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to rotate between sections when required
  • Basic knowledge of:
    • Landscaping and horticulture
    • Waste management
    • General maintenance
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining buildings and surrounding grounds. Duties include:

  • Garden and grounds maintenance:
    • Watering plants and lawns
    • Weeding, pruning, and trimming
    • Cutting, seeding, and mowing lawns
  • Waste management:
    • Proper disposal of organic waste
    • Emptying and cleaning waste bins
  • Infrastructure maintenance:
    • Cleaning signs and light fittings
    • Sweeping driveways and walkways
    • Unblocking drains
    • Maintaining road markings
  • Equipment care:
    • Cleaning, oiling, and sharpening tools
    • Reporting faulty equipment
  • General support tasks:
    • Loading and offloading furniture
    • Minor repairs to furniture, tools, and equipment
