Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum ABET Level 3 or Grade 10
- Good physical health and ability to perform manual work
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
- Ability to rotate between sections when required
- Basic knowledge of:
- Landscaping and horticulture
- Waste management
- General maintenance
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining buildings and surrounding grounds. Duties include:
- Garden and grounds maintenance:
- Watering plants and lawns
- Weeding, pruning, and trimming
- Cutting, seeding, and mowing lawns
- Waste management:
- Proper disposal of organic waste
- Emptying and cleaning waste bins
- Infrastructure maintenance:
- Cleaning signs and light fittings
- Sweeping driveways and walkways
- Unblocking drains
- Maintaining road markings
- Equipment care:
- Cleaning, oiling, and sharpening tools
- Reporting faulty equipment
- General support tasks:
- Loading and offloading furniture
- Minor repairs to furniture, tools, and equipment
