Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Auxiliary Worker will play a vital role in enhancing patient experience and ensuring smooth operations within the hospital. Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming and guiding patients and visitors
- Managing queues and maintaining order in waiting areas
- Screening patients and fast-tracking vulnerable groups
- Monitoring and recording daily waiting times
- Identifying service bottlenecks and reporting to management
- Ensuring availability of clean drinking water and complaint forms
- Checking cleanliness and reporting broken equipment
- Providing basic health talks to waiting patients
- Addressing minor complaints and escalating where necessary
- Supporting the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Attending meetings and ongoing training
- Performing additional duties as delegated
