Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Auxiliary Worker will play a vital role in enhancing patient experience and ensuring smooth operations within the hospital. Responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming and guiding patients and visitors
  • Managing queues and maintaining order in waiting areas
  • Screening patients and fast-tracking vulnerable groups
  • Monitoring and recording daily waiting times
  • Identifying service bottlenecks and reporting to management
  • Ensuring availability of clean drinking water and complaint forms
  • Checking cleanliness and reporting broken equipment
  • Providing basic health talks to waiting patients
  • Addressing minor complaints and escalating where necessary
  • Supporting the multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Attending meetings and ongoing training
  • Performing additional duties as delegated
