Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Relevant groundsman or gardening experience, especially in managing large grounds
  • valid Code B/EB driver’s licence
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
  • Willing to work overtime when required

Skills and Competencies

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining hospital grounds and supporting daily operations. Duties include:

  • Maintaining clean and well-kept hospital gardens and outdoor areas
  • Performing gardening tasks, including planting, pruning trees, and lawn care
  • Cleaning gutters and surrounding outdoor spaces
  • Removing domestic and medical waste safely
  • Providing support to the grounds supervisor
  • Ensuring all work follows health and safety standards
