Minimum Requirements
- AET Level 4 qualification (Standard 7 or Grade 9 to Grade 12)
- At least six months of relevant work experience
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Initiative, problem-solving ability, and reliability
- Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations will be an added advantage
- A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Load and off-load pharmaceutical stock and related materials from vehicles
- Pack and arrange stock on shelves using FIFO and FEFO principles
- Organise and store stock in the warehouse according to established systems
- Relocate and pack equipment and furniture at designated workstations
- Assist with the packing of materials as required by operational needs
- Travel with drivers to collect and deliver stock, prescription files, orders, and cooler boxes
- Safeguard all worksheets according to collection and delivery schedules and submit them to supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness by clearing work areas, walkways, and removing empty boxes
- Perform duties in line with standard operating procedures
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Manager
