Your Daily Duties
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of cleaning and housekeeping tasks, including:
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and scrubbing floors
- Polishing surfaces and keeping areas neat
- Cleaning windows, walls, and furniture
- Handling and removing waste properly
- Keeping the clinic clean and hygienic at all times
- Using and storing cleaning materials safely
- Following all health and safety rules
- Assisting with waste management processes
- Helping manage cleaning equipment and linen
- Supporting the Operational Manager with housekeeping duties
- Attending training sessions when required
Your work will directly affect the cleanliness and safety of the clinic.
What You Need to Apply
To qualify for this job, you must have:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills (ABET Level 1)
- Cleaning experience in a health facility (this is important)
This means you should already understand how cleaning works in a clinic or hospital environment.
