Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- A Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Office Management, Public Administration, or Management will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of clerical duties and administrative practices
- Understanding of computer operations and basic statistics collection
- Knowledge of the legislative framework governing the Public Service
- Familiarity with standard working procedures in an office environment
Skills and Competencies
- Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
- Basic problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Strong teamwork and communication skills

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Recording, organising, capturing, and retrieving correspondence and data
- Updating incoming and outgoing registers
- Handling routine enquiries and general office administration
- Making photocopies and scanning documents
- Maintaining an efficient filing system
- Typing official letters and correspondence
- Liaising with stakeholders regarding procurement of goods and services
- Obtaining quotations and completing procurement documentation
- Managing office stationery stock control
- Maintaining the asset register for the component
- Managing leave, attendance registers, and personnel records
- Capturing and updating expenditure records
- Verifying subsistence and travel claims
- Managing telephone accounts and petty cash
