Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Data Capturer positions, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or NQF Level 4 qualification
- Relevant post-matric certificate in Computer Operations or Computer Practice
- Certificate in Computer Literacy
- Knowledge and experience in data capturing and raw data analysis
- Understanding of file and records management
- Ability to design forms and maintain backup systems
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing efficient data capturing and data management services, including:
Data Capturing
- Receive and record data from various sources
- Capture information from records into databases, tables, and spreadsheets
Data Verification
- Identify and correct missing data or errors
- Review and validate all captured data for accuracy before submission
Data Management
- Maintain updated registers and statistical records
- Perform regular data backups to ensure information security
Record Keeping
- Organize and maintain files and records
- Ensure records are properly stored, sorted, and secured
- Provide information and data support to relevant components when required
