Cummins is looking for applicants who would like to obtain a learnership programme focusing on the Sales department and in need of the relevant theoretical and practical knowledge. The Cummins Learnership requires candidates to demonstrate a flexible mindset and a willingness to adapt to a variety of settings, including administration, sales, fleet, and retail. Such openness enables participants to adjust quickly, gain valuable skills, and contribute effectively across multiple functions. Candidates are also expected to possess clear and confident communication abilities. You will be required to perform the duties below:
- Generate, organize, and share sales reports to provide leadership with visibility into performance patterns and support informed business decisions
- Monitor compliance with sales quotes and invoices to safeguard financial accuracy and uphold company standards
- Deliver excellent service and provide proactive feedback to build customer trust, loyalty, and long-term relationships
- Analyze and interpret data to uncover trends and opportunities that improve efficiency and strengthen sales effectiveness
- Record leave requests and prepare monthly summaries to ensure smooth HR operations and consistent team productivity
- File service job cards with signed Proof of Delivery (POD) documents to confirm job completion and maintain service transparency
- Distribute consumables and manage inventory records to prevent shortages, reduce waste, and optimize resource use
- Track and process product returns to resolve customer issues promptly and maintain accurate inventory reconciliation
- Handle Purchase Order requests and resolve PO queries to improve departmental coordination and maintain financial accuracy
- Record cash and EFT payments from the sales team to ensure reliable income tracking and transparent financial reporting
- Arrange boardrooms and distribute meeting minutes within 24 hours to keep teams aligned and ready to act
- Monitor office supply usage to control costs, minimize waste, and ensure resources are available when needed
- Update notice boards with policies, safety reminders, and HR messages to keep employees engaged and connected to company values.
