Job Purpose
As a Crew Member at McDonald’s Annlin West, you will be the face of the restaurant, delivering friendly and efficient service to customers. This part-time permanent role (9 hours/day) involves taking orders, preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to sales targets, with an estimated salary of R4,000–R6,000 per month. Key Responsibilities
- Arrive on time for shifts and remain until completion.
- Greet customers warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take food orders quickly and accurately, both in-person and via phone.
- Manage multiple orders while ensuring accurate preparation and packaging.
- Prepare McDonald’s menu items according to standard recipes using kitchen equipment (e.g., fryers, grills).
- Maintain a clean and inviting restaurant, including equipment and dining areas.
- Adhere to McDonald’s safety and security procedures for a secure workplace.
- Collaborate with crew and managers to achieve sales goals.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supplies.
- Receive and store new stock carefully.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.
- Communicate effectively with team, managers, and customers.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Participate in training to maintain hygiene and operational standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric certificate.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Reside within 15km of Annlin West, Gauteng.
- Clear criminal record.
Preferences
- Previous experience as a crew member or in fast-food environments (advantageous but not required).
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment like fryers, grills, or ovens.
