Job Purpose

As a Crew Member at McDonald’s Annlin West, you will be the face of the restaurant, delivering friendly and efficient service to customers. This part-time permanent role (9 hours/day) involves taking orders, preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to sales targets, with an estimated salary of R4,000–R6,000 per month. Key Responsibilities

  • Arrive on time for shifts and remain until completion.
  • Greet customers warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Take food orders quickly and accurately, both in-person and via phone.
  • Manage multiple orders while ensuring accurate preparation and packaging.
  • Prepare McDonald’s menu items according to standard recipes using kitchen equipment (e.g., fryers, grills).
  • Maintain a clean and inviting restaurant, including equipment and dining areas.
  • Adhere to McDonald’s safety and security procedures for a secure workplace.
  • Collaborate with crew and managers to achieve sales goals.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Receive and store new stock carefully.
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.
  • Communicate effectively with team, managers, and customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Participate in training to maintain hygiene and operational standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12/Matric certificate.
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  • Reside within 15km of Annlin West, Gauteng.
  • Clear criminal record.

Preferences

  • Previous experience as a crew member or in fast-food environments (advantageous but not required).
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment like fryers, grills, or ovens.
