About the Colgate-Palmolive Graduate Traineeship 2025
Colgate-Palmolive is searching for applicants who would like to obtain a proper graduate traineeship to better themselves and their future career prospects. The Colgate-Palmolive Graduate Traineeship is designed for a recent graduate with a background in Human Resources who is eager to build a strong foundation in the field. This program offers a unique opportunity to develop essential skills and competencies within a fast-paced FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
Through structured exposure to key HR functions—such as Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, Learning and Development, Compensation and Benefits, as well as Culture and Change Management—the trainee will gain practical experience and insight into how HR supports business success. The program aims to nurture future HR professionals by equipping them with both strategic and operational expertise necessary for a dynamic career in the industry.
You will be required to perform the duties below:
- Assist in managing the Talent Requisition process
- Support the preparation of internal documentation for a variety of employee relations communications
- Coordinate and manage the Onboarding Program effectively
- Contribute to the implementation of the Career Development agenda
- Provide support for SOX Audit preparation
- Contribute to the preparation process for the annual BBBEE certification
- Collaborate with the BBBEE and Skills Development teams
- Support and coordinate the execution of the annual Learning and Development calendar
- Oversee activities necessary for the smooth operation of the Learnership Program
- Organize training sessions and handle related administrative tasks
- Assist with administrative responsibilities for the Compensation and Benefits team
- Maintain, update, and secure personnel records to ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Offer orientation and guidance to internal stakeholders when needed
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners on culture-related initiatives
- Perform additional HR responsibilities as needed
- Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement
- Review and regularly update or tailor HR reports and metrics to meet evolving business needs
- Support and coordinate the administration of the Graduate Program.
